Shipping policy

HDC would like to clarify that order processing times are separate from the shipping times that are seen at checkout. 

All orders are processed within 2-4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

HDC would like to extend that shipping can run into potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of HDC from third party postal services

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

We offer FREE shipping promotions. Terms and conditions can vary so please check our website banner for minimum order spends required for free shipping to apply. Applies to standard shipping rates only  

 Our shipping is sorted into metro and rural areas as defined by our couriers. 

Rural: Rural SA, WA, NT, TAS. Free over $149*

Metro: Everywhere else. Free over $99*

*Total final spend on products after any discounts, excluding shipping. Our free shipping option is available for customers allowing us to select the cheapest option. 

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@happydogco.com.au with  subject DELAYED ORDER  with your ORDER NUMBER and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Our nominated third party courier service is AUSPOST. They specialize in door-to-door delivery, which is why they need a physical street address. If a receiver is not home to sign for a parcel, it will either be delivered to a nearby location for collection or made available for a free redelivery. 

Before going to collect the parcel

  • If your email was included on the original booking by the sender, you’ll also receive a collection email informing you that your parcel has been delivered to a secure location with the instructions on how to collect it. This email will also include a collection reference number, which in some cases will be needed to collect the parcel.
  • If you received a collection card, please take it with you together with your ID – to confirm your identity. In some cases, you can collect your parcel without the card, provided that you have a valid ID that shows your address.
  • Make sure you have a charged mobile phone


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible within 24hrs at hello@happydogco.com.au with SUBJECT DAMAGED and ORDER NUMBER. Add a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution for you.
